We have been working on creative projects because Lucas is much, much happier when he is busy. We have spent a lot of time at the park. He will enjoy the park for a while but then he enjoys a few activities too.
I am always looking for new ideas to keep us busy. I thought I would share some of them so if you need something to do with your little ones, you could use them.
- We made a full size Lucas doll out of newspaper then let him pick out an outfit for him. Lucas drug him around for awhile.
-a fishing game where we put different actions on the back of fishing drawings, then fished them out with a magnet then acted out the actions
-We go for walks to look for "treasures" and then made a collage out of them.
-Trace your body on the Cement then let them decorate it
-Use a crayon and a piece of paper to make rubbings of different surfaces and objects around the house or outside.
-Put a bunch of objects in a bag then put matches of them out for your child to see. Then let them feel an object in the bag and try to match it to one in front of them without looking in the bag.
