This is Lucas and Jared. We got to watch Jared for the day while his parents went to Oklahoma City to watch the sealing of newly adopted nieces and nephews. Jared is 3, and really adorable. Lucas was happy to have him to play with, and so was I. We had all sorts of fun together. We went to the park, where Lucas got upset and kicked at Jared and got him in the mouth. Jared forgave quickly (a quality I really love about children) and they went back to playing together after Lucas' discipline was finished. We went on an adventure looking for treasures, and we found some benches the boys just had to test out.
Lucas has always been a little rough and tumble, but he is also a very sensitive and helpful little boy. He loves to help out other children, and often will watch over the little ones to keep them happy and safe. He was very eager to help Jared put on his shoes and whatever else he could come up with. It was fun to watch Lucas with his peer. Jared is also a well-behaved child so the day was really easy.
