The three scariest words
Today I heard them, Lucas came in after James had woken up from his nap and sent shivers up my spine. Here they are: "There's poop everywhere!" My mind jumps to the worst conclusions and I dreamed up a ginormous mess really fast. It wasn't as bad as my imagination, but still pretty gross. James had somehow gotten his poopy diaper off sometime in his nap and had it spread pretty good. For you soon to be moms out there, you will soon find out how bodily fluids almost cease to be a bother after you wipe up enough of them. Your biggest worry will be about it staining, not about how disgusting it is. So after a bath, some lysol and a little elbow grease it is all cleaned up. I called Adam because I couldn't help but laugh at the adventures I get to have while taking care of my little guys. I love this job.

Holy cow, good job keeping your sense of humor! You are lucky it's your little one and not your big one. We've had to clean up at least 5 self-inflicted poop messes a la Jay. I mean digging his hands in his diaper and spreading it on the wall, or taking his diaper off with poop in it and tossing it up on top of the dresser. All this usually occurs when he's supposed to be sleeping. Yes, we have our hands full with this one!

Wow! You are definately a stonger woman than I am. I guarrentee you that I would have gagged right then and there. YUCK!

That is truly gross and it has only happened (so far) once and it was pretty well contained in the bed and on the baby.
I have had friends whose kids "painted" the wall with poop. Yuck.
You are a better and stronger mother for having cleaned that up!
