Jame's Blessing

James was blessed this last weekend, and we had so much fun. Grandma and Grandpa Lyman came out, and so did Grandma Ketcham. We enjoyed spending time with them and were greatful for nice weather so we could show them a little bit of our community. Lucas and Jamess were thrilled to have so much attention. Lucas had both Grandmas playing ring around the rosie, feeding him, playing cars, talking, reading, and convincing them to give him extra treats. James was happy to coo and be held as much as he could.

The blessing was very nice. We had a little luncheon before church. Dean and Kellene came down from Kansas City with their muchkins, and we partied. The Little ones had a blast playing with eachother, but they were still able settle down well for church. Adam gave James a beautiful blessing, and James was blessed with a happy and cheerful countainance among other things. It is such a special experience to go through. I am so proud of my husband and his devotion to his family.

Lucas aslso gave his first Primary talk on Adam adn Even being the first family. I was worried he would be too shy. I was conducting Primary, and Lucas didn't understand that it wasn't his turn to talk, so I helped his sit back down. Then he got his turn and got really shy (as I expected.) He got it all out with a little encouragement. I was so proud of him, it was fun to have extra family there to see it.
My little bundle of joy. It is amazing how having a second child helped me love both of them more than I ever thought I could with none, or just one. I love my little boys!

Our Little family. Lucas was having a hard time keeping his eyes in the right direction.

Hey! Long time, no see! You have two kids, so much fun. Lucas looks just like he did when you were in rexburg. By the way, you look great for just having a kid. You should check out our blog. We live in Memphis now. We aren't too far away!

Hi! I set my blog to private and then got busy, so I'm just now getting around to adding people into it. It's only been two months...how sad. =) If you will send your email address to tracidove@gmail.com, I'll get you added in. Thanks!
